Full-Time Nanny (30 hours per week) Location: Glasgow G40 Start Date: End of March 2026 Salary: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience
About the Role We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated full-time nanny to join a lovely family and support the personal care and development of their child, who will be aged 1 year when the role starts. The role is based on a Monday to Friday schedule, from 10 am to 4 pm, providing a consistent and nurturing environment for the child’s growth.
Key Responsibilities: • Providing personal care and ensuring the well-being of the child • Organizing age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, and emotional development • Supporting the child in meeting physical and emotional milestones • Engaging the child in creative, educational, and outdoor activities • Helping with light household tasks such as tidying up after activities, laundry, and meal prep for the child • Building a strong, trusting relationship with the child while encouraging independence and confidence
Ideal Candidate: • Experienced, fun, and active with a passion for working with children • Calm, reliable, and confident with a proactive approach to childcare • Engaging and able to create a positive, nurturing environment • Romanian or Greek language skills would be an advantage (but not a requirement) • Non-smoker preferred • Friendly and adaptable with a willingness to integrate into a family-oriented home
Criteria: • Valid driving license and own car (preferred) • Childcare qualification (e.g., SVQ Level 2/3, or equivalent), or proven experience • Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate, or willing to obtain one • Comfortable with the family’s two cats (no allergies or fears of cats)
