    Full-Time | 36 hours across 4 days | £29,952 - £37,440 per year

    (Equivalent to £33,280 - £41,600 for a 40-hour week)

Are you a dedicated early years professional with strong leadership experience and a passion for creating outstanding learning environments? We're looking for an inspiring Nursery Manager to lead our vibrant setting with vision, warmth, and a commitment to excellence.

This is your opportunity to shape a nurturing, engaging space where children, families, and staff all thrive—while enjoying a 4-day work week that supports your work-life balance.

? Your Role: A Balance of Leadership & Connection

As our Nursery Manager, you'll wear two hats: a hands-on leader in the rooms and a strategic overseer of nursery operations. You’ll empower your team, nurture strong relationships with families, and ensure the highest standards of care and education.

    Your responsibilities will include:

Leading from the Floor – Work directly in the rooms to model best practice, support learning, and create inspiring environments for children and staff.

Driving Excellence – Oversee daily operations, compliance, and Ofsted readiness, ensuring policies are upheld and our standards remain high.

Empowering Your Team – Mentor, support, and develop staff, promoting a positive and professional culture of growth and collaboration.

Engaging with Families – Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers, working together to support each child’s learning journey.

Creating a Safe, Stimulating Space – Champion safeguarding, health & safety, and inclusive practices to ensure every child feels valued and secure.

    ? What You’ll Bring

A minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK equivalent)

Proven experience in a management or senior leadership role within an early years setting

Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and early years best practices

A leadership style that is collaborative, supportive, and child-focused

A deep passion for early childhood development and a desire to make a meaningful impact

    ? What We Offer You

We believe great leadership deserves great support. That’s why we offer:

4-day working week – 3 days off for work-life balance

    Competitive salary: £29,952 - £37,440 (based on 36 hours)

    Up to 47.5% childcare discount

4.5 weeks holiday + Bank Holidays

    Christmas closure

    Pension scheme

Bupa 24/7 support line – for your mental health and wellbeing

? Ready to Lead with Purpose?

If you're an experienced early years leader who wants to be hands-on, make strategic decisions, and be part of something meaningful, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today and help shape a place where every child—and every team member—can thrive.
