What we need from you:
• A full Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years • Previous experience within a nursery or early years environment • Strong understanding of the EYFS • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team • Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection • A valid or willing-to-obtain Enhanced DBS • (Desirable) Paediatric First Aid qualification • (Desirable) Experience supporting children with SEN
Your duties will include:
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS • Providing high-quality care and ensuring children’s safety, well-being, and emotional security • Building warm and positive relationships with children and families • Supporting daily routines, including meals, rest times, and outdoor play • Observing, tracking, and recording children’s development and contributing to learning journeys • Creating and maintaining a stimulating, clean, and safe nursery environment • Following all nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety • Working collaboratively with the team to create a nurturing and inclusive setting • Adapting activities to meet the needs of children with additional learning requirements
