Job Description

    This nursery is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join its welcoming Bromley (BR2) team. This role is ideal for anyone searching for early years jobs in the local area.     What we need from you:

    • A full Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years
    • Previous experience within a nursery or early years environment
    • Strong understanding of the EYFS
    • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
    • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
    • Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
    • A valid or willing-to-obtain Enhanced DBS
    • (Desirable) Paediatric First Aid qualification
    • (Desirable) Experience supporting children with SEN

    Your duties will include:

    • Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS
    • Providing high-quality care and ensuring children’s safety, well-being, and emotional security
    • Building warm and positive relationships with children and families
    • Supporting daily routines, including meals, rest times, and outdoor play
    • Observing, tracking, and recording children’s development and contributing to learning journeys
    • Creating and maintaining a stimulating, clean, and safe nursery environment
    • Following all nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety
    • Working collaboratively with the team to create a nurturing and inclusive setting
    • Adapting activities to meet the needs of children with additional learning requirements
