A lovely small, family-run nursery in Bermondsey is seeking a caring and reliable Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a maternity cover contract. The nursery has been established for over 10 years and is known for its warm, community-focused environment and close-knit team. The successful candidate will support one large room for children aged 2–5 years, caring for up to 20 children.

What we need from you:
• Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification • Experience working in an early years environment • Good understanding of the EYFS • Ability to work well within a small, supportive team • A positive, caring approach to children’s learning and development
Your duties will include:
• Supporting the daily running of the 2–5s room • Assisting with planning and delivering EYFS-based activities • Observing and supporting children’s development • Building strong relationships with children, colleagues, and families • Maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment • Contributing to children’s emotional and developmental needs
