Role Overview:
We are looking for a full-time, permanent Room Leader to join our passionate and diverse team. You will lead a room, supporting staff to deliver high-quality Froebelian practice, and ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment where children can flourish.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment where children learn organically through play
Lead a room and support staff in delivering Froebelian practice
Take responsibility for your room and achieve targets outlined by your manager
Foster positive relationships with your team, children, and families
Communicate effectively with families about children’s development through documentation and learning stories
Ensure all staff understand and implement safeguarding, health, and safety policies
Requirements & Skills:
Level 3 qualification in Childcare (e.g., EYE, NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Understanding of the Froebelian approach
Experience managing a room in a nursery environment
Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety procedures
Right to work in the UK and a clear enhanced DBS
