"Live-in Nanny – Chiswick, West London (open to live out)
Start Date: 13th May
A warm, professional single mother based in Chiswick is seeking an experienced and nurturing live-in nanny to care for her two children (aged 6.5 and nearly 4), both of whom attend full-time education.
Accommodation
Spacious private bedroom located on the top floor of the family home
Working Hours
Term Time:
Monday–Friday
7:30am–9:00am
3:30pm–7:30pm (additional hours might be required if there is a need for batch cooking or child related duties).
School Holidays:
Monday–Friday, 7:30am–7:30pm (when the mother is working)
Average of approximately 35 hours per week across the year
Flexibility to travel with the family occasionally
Duties & Responsibilities
Managing the morning routine (breakfast, dressing, school drop-off)
School pick-ups and after-school care
Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities
Preparing nutritious meals for the children
Supporting bath and bedtime routines
All nursery duties, including:
Children’s laundry and wardrobe management
Keeping bedrooms and play areas clean and organised
Candidate Profile
The client is seeking a nanny with a naturally calm, patient, and emotionally steady temperament—this is essential.
The eldest child is autistic and may experience periods of dysregulation, particularly around transitions and sensory sensitivities. The ideal candidate will:
Remain calm and consistent under pressure
Support emotional regulation with compassion and understanding
Avoid raised voices, using gentle and responsive approaches
Experience with neurodivergent children is highly desirable, and neurodivergent candidates are warmly encouraged to apply.
