## The Role
A warm and professional family based in HA7 is seeking an experienced and nurturing live-out nanny to care for their baby two days per week from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nanny who is passionate about infant development and confident caring for young babies. The successful candidate will play an important role in establishing routines, supporting developmental milestones and providing attentive, loving care during the baby's early years.
## Duties and Responsibilities
* Sole-charge care of a baby aged 4–5 months.
* Managing all aspects of the baby's daily routine, including feeding, naps and developmental activities.
* Following and maintaining sleep schedules and routines.
* Preparing for and supporting weaning when appropriate.
* Feeding, bottle preparation, sterilising equipment and maintaining feeding routines.
* Nappy changing, bathing and all general infant care duties.
* Providing age-appropriate developmental play and sensory activities.
* Supporting key developmental milestones through engaging and stimulating activities.
* Keeping a daily log/diary of feeds, naps, activities and milestones.
* Accompanying the baby on walks, outings and baby classes.
* Confidently managing solo outings with the baby.
* Minimum 2–3 years' professional nanny experience.
* Demonstrable experience caring for babies under 6 months old.
* Strong understanding of infant development and early years milestones.
* Experience with feeding routines, sleep schedules and weaning preparation.
* Paediatric First Aid certificate.
* Enhanced DBS check.
* NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent childcare qualification).
* Professional references supporting relevant infant experience.
## Desirable Qualifications
* Norland qualification.
* NNEB qualification.
* Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
