This small established setting based in the North Watford area are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, experienced Preschool Manager to lead a team of 7.
You would be required to hold a Level 3 or above in childcare.
This is a Permanent position - term time only (38 weeks of the Year)
Salary: £14.50 - £16.00 gross per hour £21,000 - £24,000 gross per annum
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Lead and manage the preschool team, providing support, guidance, and development opportunities.
Ensure the preschool meets and exceeds the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards.
Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with Ofsted regulations and best practices.
Oversee the planning and delivery of a high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of all children.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the preschool's provision, making improvements where necessary.
Operational Management:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the preschool, including staffing, rotas, and resources.
Ensure the preschool is a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children, staff, and visitors.
Maintain accurate records, including attendance, health and safety, safeguarding, and staff performance.
Handle admissions, inquiries, and parent communications, ensuring a positive experience for families.
Keyworking children.
Qualifications and Experience:
Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
Proven experience in a management role within an early years setting.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted requirements.
Experience as Designated Safeguarding Lead and SENCO preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
