Job Description
- A family based in Great Missenden are looking for a Nanny to join them.
Days & Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am to 715pm
2 Children: 1 ½ years old and a baby due in June 2025
Pets: 2 dogs (spaniels)
Start Date: Beginning of August 2025
The family are looking for a fun, adventurous nanny with previous baby and toddler experience and who can become a part of their family team, working with mum to support the development and growth of both children.
Mum will be at home looking after the baby on maternity leave up until the beginning of 2026 so during this time the nanny will be sole charge care for the oldest child and supporting mum with the youngest when needed. From early next year, mum will return to work which is out of the house and the care will then be for both children (the oldest may attend nursery for a few days).
The days will the change at the beginning of 2026 to Monday to Friday with the estimated hours of 8am to 6pm, so the nanny must be flexible to add on the Friday.
Must be a driver (own car is preferably) and the nanny must be comfortable with the two dogs.
Duties:
General nanny duties
Cooking healthy and nutritious meals and snacks (cooking and baking with the oldest child)
General errands for the house hold (food shopping, washing etc)
Attending local toddler groups
Organising days out and play dates
Creating stimulating activities for the oldest child
Baby weaning & baby bottle sterlising
Potty training
Supporting the family with day to day tasks where needed
Salary: £16-18 gross per hour (flexibility to this dependent on experience)
Gross annual salary based on 49 hours per week:
£16 per hour- £40,768
£17 per hour- £43,316
£18 per hour- £45,864

Live-In Nanny: A live-in nanny resides in the family home, with a private bedroom or private living quarters. They offer comprehensive childcare, including supervision, meal preparation, and overnight care when needed.
Holiday Nanny: A nanny hired to accompany a family on holiday, offering childcare and assistance throughout the trip, usually temporarily.
Nanny with New Born Experience: A nanny with newborn experience specialises in caring for infants. They have specialist knowledge in relation to feeding, sleep routines and developmental activities for the baby.
