Full Time Nanny

Job Description

  • A family based in Beaconsfield are seeking an experienced, proactive, and caring Full-Time Nanny to care for their two boys, aged 7 and 4.


    Start Date: Mid-August 2026

    Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 gross per annum (44 working weeks per year)

    Days: 4 to 5 days per week (Tuesday to Friday or Monday to Friday)

    Hours: 8:00am to 7:00pm

    Children: Two boys, aged 7 and 4


    Key Responsibilities

    School drop-offs and pick-ups

    Taking children to after-school activities (e.g. swimming)

    Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities (games, crafts, etc.)

    Preparing and supervising dinner, bath time, and bedtime routine

    Organising fun and enriching activities during school holidays, including local outings


    Duties while children are at Nursery/School

    Preparing children’s meals and snacks

    Children’s laundry and ironing

    Grocery shopping

    Running errands (e.g. post office, dry cleaning, charity shop)

    Keeping the home tidy and organised (playroom, kitchen surfaces, etc.)

    Organising children’s clothes, toys, and books


    Requirements

    Previous nanny or childcare experience

    Confident driver with a full driving license and own car (essential)

    Organised, proactive, and able to manage a busy household

    Warm, engaging, and reliable

    Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

    Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain)


    Additional Information

    The family travels abroad for approximately 7–8 weeks per year (typically Easter, Summer, and Winter holidays), with at least 4 months’ notice provided

    This structure offers flexibility for the nanny to take additional work or extended time off during these periods
