Job Description

  • Nursery Nurse - Peterborough PE1 - Term Time Only - Full time 40 hours - £25,043 PA - ASAP start

    We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join a supportive and well-established nursery setting. This role offers the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team, delivering high-quality care and education to children within a nurturing and structured environment. The setting is committed to providing a safe, stimulating space where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually. This role would suit someone who is passionate about early years development and enjoys working in a collaborative, child-focused environment.

    Salary of approximately £25,000 per annum (pro rata)

    Requirements
    Level 2 qualification in Early Years (Level 3 desirable)
    Previous experience working with children aged 0–5
    Good knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
    Strong communication and teamwork skills
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    Passion for supporting children’s learning and development

    Responsibilities

    Provide high-quality care and education as part of a team
    Support children’s development through planned activities and routines
    Act as a key person, maintaining observations and assessments
    Build strong relationships with parents and carers
    Support daily routines including meals, activities, and transitions
    Work in line with nursery policies, procedures, and EYFS framework
    Assist with maintaining accurate records and reports
    Support children with additional needs and work with external agencies where required


  • Shift: Monday to Friday 8am-6pm
