- Live-Out Sole-Charge Nanny – Cheshunt, Hertfordshire
Start Date: ASAP
Days: Monday to Friday (5 days)
Hours: 8:30am – 6:00pm
Salary: £44,460 gross per annum
A family in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced live-out, sole-charge nanny to care for their 15 month old child.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional nanny with strong toddler experience, confident in following routines and supporting early childhood development.
About the Family:
Both parents work from home
No pets in the household
Responsibilities:
Sole-charge care of a 15-month-old, providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
Supporting daily routines, including sterilisation of the child’s utensils, naps, and sleep schedules
Planning and leading age-appropriate educational activities to support developmental milestones (sensory play, music, reading, messy play, gross and fine motor activities)
Organising and attending local classes, playgroups, and outings (walks, park, library, soft play, etc.)
Preparing healthy meals and snacks, with menu planning in line with family preferences
Maintaining a daily log of meals, naps, activities, and milestones for parents
Monitoring and restocking child-related supplies (nappies, wipes, formula, creams, clothing sizes)
Ensuring all toddler equipment, including highchairs, prams, and toys, is kept clean and well maintained
Requirements:
Proven experience caring for toddler-aged children
Confident in planning and preparing nutritious meals
Paediatric First Aid qualified
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
Driver not required
Willingness to occasionally travel with the family (optional) - Shift: 8.30am till 6.00pm

Live-In Nanny: A live-in nanny resides in the family home, with a private bedroom or private living quarters. They offer comprehensive childcare, including supervision, meal preparation, and overnight care when needed.
Holiday Nanny: A nanny hired to accompany a family on holiday, offering childcare and assistance throughout the trip, usually temporarily.
Nanny with New Born Experience: A nanny with newborn experience specialises in caring for infants. They have specialist knowledge in relation to feeding, sleep routines and developmental activities for the baby.
