- Nursery Practitioner – Sittingbourne (ME9) – Full time 45 hours – Up to £13.50 per hour – ASAP start
This is a well-established nursery with over 30 years of experience, offering a warm, homely environment within a spacious converted house. The setting caters for children from babies through to early years, providing a nurturing and supportive space for development. With access to nearby woodland, the nursery places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, regularly taking children on walks to explore nature, encouraging curiosity, confidence, and hands-on learning through play. They are currently seeking a Nursery Practitioner who is looking to grow within the setting, with the opportunity to progress into a Room Leader position over time, who must be a driver due to location.

What we need from you:
• Level 3+ qualification in childcare or higher
• Commitment
• Passion to deliver outstanding childcare
• Ability to work within a team
• Broad knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
• 2 years nursery experience
Your duties will include:
• Taking charge of a key group of children
• Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop• Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning• Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children• Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
• Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children.
