Job Description
- We’re delighted to be recruiting for a returning Tinies family based in Frankfurt, seeking an experienced Live-In Nanny / Housekeeper to join their household. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nanny looking to begin (or continue) an international career, working alongside another nanny already successfully placed by Tinies.
Children
Baby born June 2024 (6 months old)
Two older children aged 3 and 5 (primarily cared for by the main nanny)
Your role will focus mainly on caring for the baby as a second nanny, while also supporting the household when the main nanny is with all three children.
Duties
Sole and shared care of the baby
Supporting the main nanny
Child-related housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, home organisation)
Assisting with kindergarten routines and holiday camps as needed
Maintaining a clean, organised home environment
Accommodation
This is a live-in role, though live-out candidates already based in Frankfurt may be considered.
Accommodation includes:
Private top-floor living space
Spacious double bedroom
Private bathroom with shower
Balcony and rooftop access
Studio space next door (available at times)
Ideal Candidate
Experienced Nanny / Housekeeper across all age groups
Confident with babies and happy working alongside another nanny
Organised, proactive, and flexible
Comfortable working internationally and adapting to family routines
Location: Frankfurt, Germany
Start: Mid-January (settling-in period)
Full start: 1st February
Salary: £3,000 gross per month
Working Hours
Weekdays:
4 hours per day (Wednesday–Friday afternoons)
Weekends:
8 hours per day
3 weekends per month (average of 1 weekend off)
Rest Days
2 per week

Full-Time Nanny: A nanny who works regular, full-time hours providing consistent daily childcare and support to a family.
Part-Time Nanny: A nanny who works fewer hours than a full-time nanny, usually providing childcare on specific days or during certain hours each week.
After School Nanny: An after-school nanny cares for children once they finish school, for a minimum of 4 hours. Their responsibilities will include collecting from school or nursery, helping with homework, engaging in recreational activities and more.
Nanny/Housekeeper: A nanny housekeeper combines their childcare responsibilities with household management tasks, that relate to children in their care such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Live-In Nanny: A live-in nanny resides in the family home, with a private bedroom or private living quarters. They offer comprehensive childcare, including supervision, meal preparation, and overnight care when needed.
Holiday Nanny: A nanny hired to accompany a family on holiday, offering childcare and assistance throughout the trip, usually temporarily.
Nanny with New Born Experience: A nanny with newborn experience specialises in caring for infants. They have specialist knowledge in relation to feeding, sleep routines and developmental activities for the baby.
International Nanny: An international nanny provides childcare services to families living abroad or frequently travelling. International nannies adapt to diverse cultural environments, offering their expertise in child development, safety, and well-being.
Proxy Parenting: Proxy parenting involves a nanny temporarily taking on the role and responsibilities of a parent who needs to travel or be away for work, ensuring the child’s routine remains uninterrupted.
Weekend Nanny: A nanny who provides childcare during weekends, either as their primary role or in addition to a weekday job.
Scottish Tax Letter (Scotland Only): This service allows Scottish families to register their nannies in order to claim from a Childcare Voucher Scheme, Universal Credit or Tax-Free Childcare.
