- Full-Time Sole Charge Nanny
Location: NW8, London
A warm and welcoming family returning to Tinies is seeking an experienced, reliable full-time sole charge nanny to care for their two children aged 3 and 5 years. The family’s current nanny has been with them for five years, reflecting a happy and long-term working relationship, and they are now looking for a nanny who is keen to build a similar commitment.
Role Overview
This is a varied nanny role combining high-quality childcare with light PA and Nanny duties.
Working Hours
Holiday hours: 8:00am – 7:00pm (Open to finishing at 6:30pm)
Term time: Afternoons only hours approx. 1pm – 7:30pm
Flexibility is essential and appreciated when the children are sick they would like the same nanny to cover at a hourly salary.
Duties Include
Sole charge care of two children aged 3 and 5
Supporting children’s development through age-appropriate activities
School and nursery runs
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Light nanny housekeeping related to the children
PA duties, including:
Grocery shopping
Booking clubs and activities
General organisation and errands
Holiday care and planning engaging activities during school holidays
Ideal Candidate
Experienced full-time nanny with sole charge experience
Organised, proactive, and adaptable
Comfortable with light PA duties
Reliable and flexible, especially for sickness cover
Looking for a long-term role with a professional family
Salary
£45,000 – £50,000 gross per annum, depending on experience

Full-Time Nanny: A nanny who works regular, full-time hours providing consistent daily childcare and support to a family.
Part-Time Nanny: A nanny who works fewer hours than a full-time nanny, usually providing childcare on specific days or during certain hours each week.
After School Nanny: An after-school nanny cares for children once they finish school, for a minimum of 4 hours. Their responsibilities will include collecting from school or nursery, helping with homework, engaging in recreational activities and more.
Nanny/Housekeeper: A nanny housekeeper combines their childcare responsibilities with household management tasks, that relate to children in their care such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Live-In Nanny: A live-in nanny resides in the family home, with a private bedroom or private living quarters. They offer comprehensive childcare, including supervision, meal preparation, and overnight care when needed.
Holiday Nanny: A nanny hired to accompany a family on holiday, offering childcare and assistance throughout the trip, usually temporarily.
Nanny with New Born Experience: A nanny with newborn experience specialises in caring for infants. They have specialist knowledge in relation to feeding, sleep routines and developmental activities for the baby.
International Nanny: An international nanny provides childcare services to families living abroad or frequently travelling. International nannies adapt to diverse cultural environments, offering their expertise in child development, safety, and well-being.
Proxy Parenting: Proxy parenting involves a nanny temporarily taking on the role and responsibilities of a parent who needs to travel or be away for work, ensuring the child’s routine remains uninterrupted.
Weekend Nanny: A nanny who provides childcare during weekends, either as their primary role or in addition to a weekday job.
Scottish Tax Letter (Scotland Only): This service allows Scottish families to register their nannies in order to claim from a Childcare Voucher Scheme, Universal Credit or Tax-Free Childcare.
