Role Overview
A professional family based in Kensington are seeking an engaging, proactive and educationally focused nanny to support their children during a short-term stay in London.
This is a temporary role with a strong emphasis on educational support, particularly in maths, alongside providing a fun, safe and stimulating environment.
Duties Include
Supporting structured learning, particularly maths (curriculum provided)
Assisting with homework and academic development
Encouraging independent learning
Planning educational and engaging activities
Organising outdoor play and local outings (e.g. park visits)
Preparing simple meals / lunches
Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
Ideal Candidate
Strong academic or tutoring background (maths support essential)
Experience with school-age children
Proactive, organised and engaging
Confident supporting structured learning
Paediatric First Aid preferred (negotiable)
Additional language skills a bonus, but not essential
Additional Information
Occasional flexibility required due to changing daily schedules
Opportunity for outings and accompanying children locally
? Salary: £17 - £18 gross per hour (flexible depending on experience)

Full-Time Nanny: A nanny who works regular, full-time hours providing consistent daily childcare and support to a family.
Part-Time Nanny: A nanny who works fewer hours than a full-time nanny, usually providing childcare on specific days or during certain hours each week.
After School Nanny: An after-school nanny cares for children once they finish school, for a minimum of 4 hours. Their responsibilities will include collecting from school or nursery, helping with homework, engaging in recreational activities and more.
Nanny/Housekeeper: A nanny housekeeper combines their childcare responsibilities with household management tasks, that relate to children in their care such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Live-In Nanny: A live-in nanny resides in the family home, with a private bedroom or private living quarters. They offer comprehensive childcare, including supervision, meal preparation, and overnight care when needed.
Holiday Nanny: A nanny hired to accompany a family on holiday, offering childcare and assistance throughout the trip, usually temporarily.
Nanny with New Born Experience: A nanny with newborn experience specialises in caring for infants. They have specialist knowledge in relation to feeding, sleep routines and developmental activities for the baby.
International Nanny: An international nanny provides childcare services to families living abroad or frequently travelling. International nannies adapt to diverse cultural environments, offering their expertise in child development, safety, and well-being.
Proxy Parenting: Proxy parenting involves a nanny temporarily taking on the role and responsibilities of a parent who needs to travel or be away for work, ensuring the child’s routine remains uninterrupted.
