    Location: Edmonton, London, United Kingdom, Hertfordshire, N9 9TQ

    Contract Type: Full-time

    Contract Length: Permanent

    Hours: 40 hours per week

    Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 per annum (plus quarterly and annual bonuses)

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead a high-quality early years setting in Edmonton. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children while leading and inspiring a team of practitioners.

    Key Responsibilities

    Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and EYFS requirements

    Lead, motivate, and develop a team of early years professionals

    Ensure high standards of care, learning, and development for all children

    Manage staff recruitment, training, supervision, and performance

    Maintain strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external agencies

    Monitor occupancy levels and support business growth

    Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and welfare requirements are consistently met

    Manage budgets, resources, and nursery administration effectively

    Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections

    Requirements

    Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above desirable)

    Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager

    Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted standards, and safeguarding procedures

    Proven leadership and team management skills

    Excellent communication and organisational abilities

    Passion for delivering outstanding childcare and early education

    Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
