Job Description

  • Job Purpose:

    To provide high-quality early years education and care for children from birth to five years old. The Level 3 Early Years Educator plays a key role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that supports children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities to promote children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development.

    Observe, assess, and record children’s progress using the EYFS framework.

    Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff, ensuring consistent communication and a child-centred approach.

    Promote and safeguard the welfare of all children in the setting.

    Work in partnership with parents and carers to support each child’s learning and development journey.

    Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment, both indoors and outdoors.

    Support children's personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and dressing, in a respectful and hygienic manner.

    Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and equality and diversity policies and procedures at all times.

    Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuous professional development (CPD).

    Assist with the supervision, mentoring, and support of apprentices or less-experienced staff when required.
