- Nursery Practitioner (2–5 Year Olds) – Balham, SW12
Are you an enthusiastic and caring Nursery Practitioner looking to join a warm, supportive team?
We’re working with a medium-sized nursery in Balham that’s known for its nurturing environment and strong sense of community. The nursery is all on one floor, featuring bright, spacious, and airy rooms designed to inspire learning and play.
You’ll be working with the 2–5 year age group, supporting children as they develop their confidence, independence, and curiosity through a mix of play-based learning and structured activities.
What You’ll Be Doing
Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 2–5.
Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS.
Supporting each child’s individual learning journey and developmental milestones.
Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
Working collaboratively as part of a friendly and passionate team.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and inspiring learning space.
What We’re Looking For
Level 2 Childcare Qualification
Previous experience working with children aged 2–5 in an early years setting.
A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to child wellbeing.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding best practices.
