Job Description
- Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £70,000 gross per year (depending on experience)
A lovely family based in Chelsea are seeking an experienced, proactive, and warm full-time nanny to care for their four children, aged 7, 6, 5, and 3 years old. The older three attend school locally, while the youngest is cared for at home during the day.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 7:00pm (with some later finishes and occasional evening babysitting)
Potential for a 6-day schedule on occasion, by agreement.
Duties include:
Sole charge care of the children, supporting their daily routines and development
Preparing nutritious and child-friendly meals (the children enjoy helping with cooking)
School drop-offs, pick-ups, and escorting to after-school clubs (all within walking distance)
Homework assistance, bath and bedtime routines
Organising engaging, creative, and educational activities
Light nursery duties and maintaining children’s areas
Occasional travel flexibility preferred (not essential)
Family Details:
The children are bright, active, and creative — they enjoy football, drama, art, and exploring museums.
The family have two small dogs, so a pet-friendly nanny is essential.
A French-speaking nanny would be beneficial
No special educational needs; one child has a mild dairy intolerance.
Candidate Requirements:
Experienced, organised, and energetic nanny with a calm and positive approach
Confident managing multiple school-aged children
Excellent communication and reliability
Paediatric First Aid and Enhanced DBS
Fluent English; French a bonus
Driver helpful but not essential
