Lucy has been in recruitment for over 20 years within the IT, Finance, Sales and Childcare Sectors for companies such as Michael Page International, Crone Corkill, Robert Walters and Price Waterhouse Coopers.
Between 2000 and 2004 Lucy managed the Tinies Central London nanny agency recruitment desk before relocating with her husband to New York.
While in New York, Lucy had some first-hand experience of nannying, which gave her a good knowledge of the skill set required to become an excellent nanny.
On returning to the UK in 2007, Lucy set up Tinies Brighton & Sussex before having her first child in 2008. Lucy believes her many years recruitment experience, being a mother herself and having been a nanny consolidates both what clients and nannies are looking for in a childcare recruitment agency.

Amy Mechen, Part-time Senior Team Recruitment Manager
Amy has worked in the recruitment industry since 2008 specialising in Aviation, Industrial and Care Sectors placing both temporary and permanent candidates for a wide range of high profile clients across the UK. Amy has dealt with all levels of recruitment from high volume business, through to specialist roles such as Operations Managers.
In March 2013 Amy joined Tinies as a Senior Recruiter on the Nursery Desk, and was responsible for the temporary side of the business. Amy loved the fast pace and the mapping of the temporary desk and thrived on ensuring nurseries were fully staffed and able to operate on a temporary and emergency basis.
In January 2016 Amy was promoted to our Recruiting Manager and started overseeing both the Nursery and Nanny Desks. Since becoming Manager she has loved working more closely with all members of the team - "I love working with all of the girls, they all feel really passionately about the childcare industry and this is a pleasure to work with!"
In August 2016, Amy had her beautiful son, Dougie, and since spending time in various mothers groups and baby sessions in Sussex during her maternity leave, she is returning to Tinies as Manager and also launching the Tinies Mobile Crèche side of the business! Having enjoyed local baby groups herself as a mother, she is most looking forward to applying this knowledge and creating a business that will encompass all that she loves and is needed in this growing sector.

Tami Salvesen, Recruitment Consultant
Tami has worked within the childcare industry for over 20 years. She is passionate about her candidates and clients, and works incredibly hard to ensure that they are matched with the right placement each and every time.
She was also the Operations Manager for the Central London branch from 2008 - 2013 before she left Tinies to raise her children.
After returning to work in 2019, Tami continued her career working with children and their families at a London primary school as the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and Student Welfare Officer.
"My goal in my role is to understand the needs of my candidates and clients, to get a true sense of what it is they are looking for and do my upmost to match that."
