Job Description


  • A friendly childcare provider in Brackley (NN13) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Centre Manager to join their outstanding team. The setting provides childcare for children aged 2-11 years.

    This role is full time working over four days a week on a 52 week contract. The hours are 7:45am – 6:00pm.

    To apply for this Early Years Centre Manager role candidates must have:

    • A full and relevant NVQ Level 3 in Early Years or above or an equivalent qualification

    • Maths C/4 or above

    • English C/4 or above

    • Ideally a minimum of 3 years management experience in the Early Years sector

    • This role will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and reference and background checks in accordance with safer recruitment

    • This role would also suit a qualified Teacher with Early Years experience.

    Duties for this Early Years Centre Manager role include:

    • To lead a team of Early Years Practitioners to ensure good practice at all times, this involves leading from the floor as well as office based

    • The Centre Manager will work with Room Leaders to provide leadership and management in supporting the early years, wrap around and holiday club teams.

    • To ensure that all children receive the highest standard of care and education

    • To build professional and respectful partnerships with parents and carers, involving them in their child's learning journey

    • To work within all statutory guidelines including Health and Safety and EYFS requirements

    • To support the development of good practice with regards to special needs and inclusion

    • Support the Early Years Team in delivering the EYFS and ensure that provision meets the requirements of Ofsted and the EYA in relation to nursery education and grant funding for all children

    • Establish and maintain highly professional working relationships with the relevant authority regulating bodies and other agencies

    • To work in alongside the Business Manager in delivering agreed occupancy targets
