Job Description
- A friendly, professional family in Thornby (NN6) require a Live Out, Sole Charge, Part Time Nanny to care for their daughter who will be approaching 10 months old.
The days and hours for this role are every Friday from 9am / 10am until 5pm on a permanent basis, with additional ad hoc days throughout the year if the nanny is available to cover.
The little girl enjoys playing with sensory toys and rattles and exploring the world around her, a kind, caring, fun and experienced nanny who really enjoys caring for babies and can offer lots of interaction would suit this role. A parent will be working from home in a separate area but this position is sole charge.
Duties for this part time nanny job will include:
• General childcare duties
• Interacting and playing with the baby
• Planning activities and taking the baby for walks
• Settling the baby for naps
• Preparing snacks and meals and assisting with weaning
• Liaising effectively with the parents and feeding back at the end of the day
• Keeping areas used in the home clean and tidy
To be considered for this part time nanny job candidates must have:
• Previous professional, sole charge nanny experience
• Age appropriate experience caring for babies sole charge
• A clean, Enhanced DBS Disclosure registered on the Update Service (Tinies can assist)
• A valid 12 hour paediatric first aid certificate (Tinies can assist)
• Nanny insurance (Tinies can advise)
• An Early Years qualification is desirable for this role
• The right to work in the UK
• Contactable referees covering the last 5 years
There is no driving required for this role whilst on duty but candidates will need to be a driver with their own reliable car as public transport options are limited due to village location.
The parents are seeking someone who is flexible and confident working under their own initiative.
The family has two cats.
The salary being offered is £16.00 gross per hour.
