Job Description
- A friendly, professional family in Northampton (NN7) require an experienced, kind, cheerful live out or live in (Monday- Friday) Nanny to care for their two sons aged 7 years and 5 years. The boys enjoy being around energetic and fun people who will interact with them lots to ensure that great memories are made together.
The hours for this role are Monday to Friday from 1pm - 7.15pm in term time and 10 hours a day in the school holidays. (14 weeks per year). This averages out as 8 hours a day. There is also 6 weeks Proxy Parenting Monday to Friday annually.
The role will be a mix of sole charge and shared care and the Nanny will work alongside the boys Mother and Housekeeper so this is a great and unique opportunity for a childcarer to enjoy being part of a team.
Duties for this nanny job will include:
• General childcare
• School runs – school is a 45 minute car journey, a duty car will be provided (Parents will do some of these)
• Starting the evening routine
• Liaising between the family and school
• Keeping areas used in the home clean and tidy
• Taking the children to after school activities and getting kits ready
• Assisting with homework
• Interacting with and occupying the children through fun and educational activities. In term time some family admin and childcare related chores. Cooking. Dog walking
To be considered for this nanny job candidates must have:
• Previous professional nanny experience
• Age appropriate experience
• A clean, Enhanced DBS Disclosure registered on the Update Service (Tinies can assist)
• A valid 12 hour paediatric first aid certificate (Tinies can assist)
• A clean driving licence
• Nanny insurance (Tinies can advise)
• An early years qualification is desirable for this role
• The Right to Work in the UK
• A strong swimmer is preferred
The family are looking for someone who is flexible, confident working under their own initiative.
The hourly rate is £18.00 gross
The family has two friendly dogs.To ideally start ASAP, the family can be flexible on this.
