Job Description

  • A beautiful and welcoming nursery in SE10 is looking for a Qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their supportive team and help every child thrive, build confidence, and develop strong foundations for lifelong learning. This is a full-time role, offering 30–35 hours per week over five days, with flexibility for those who prefer four longer days. You’ll primarily be based in the Toddler Room, with occasional support across other rooms in the setting. The nursery offers on-site parking and is easily accessible by public transport. If you're passionate about inspiring young children and delivering exceptional early years education in a caring, joyful, and supportive environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

    What we need from you:

    · Level 3 qualification in childcare or higher
    · Level 4 or above in English
    · Experience in working with children
    · Good Team player
    · Good communication skills
    · Good working knowledge of EYFS, Awareness of Safeguarding practices and
    · Paediatric first Aid certificate

    Your duties will include:

    · Taking charge of a key group of children
    · Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop
    · Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning.
    · Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
    · Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
    · Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children.
