- A beautiful and welcoming nursery in SE10 is looking for a Baby Room Leader to join their supportive team and help every child thrive, build confidence, and develop strong foundations for lifelong learning. This is a full-time role, you’ll be based in the Baby Room, leading a small group of practitioners. The nursery offers on-site parking and is easily accessible by public transport. What we need from you:
· Level 3 qualification in childcare or higher
· Level 4 or above in English
· Experience in working with children
· Good Team player
· Good communication skills
· Good working knowledge of EYFS, Awareness of Safeguarding practices and
· Paediatric first Aid certificate
Your duties will include:
· Lead the baby room, ensuring a safe, caring, and stimulating environment
· Plan and deliver EYFS-based activities for children aged 0–2
· Monitor children’s development through observations and assessments
· Build strong relationships with parents and provide regular updates
· Supervise and support staff, maintaining high standards of practice
· Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene procedures are followed
· Manage room organisation, resources, and staff ratios - Shift: 30/35 hours per week
