Job Description

Nursery Practitioner - TN13 - £12.50 per hour - 30-35 hours per week

This warm and welcoming nursery believe that in order to create lifelong learners, children's natural curiosity should be nurtured and celebrated.

The nursery offers a range of subjects and activities in our indoor and outdoor learning spaces, with a strong emphasis on outdoor learning in our dedicated areas, gardens, 'Dell' and onsite Forest School.

Their specialist Early Years teachers and assistants educate in fun and imaginative ways, developing strong relationships with every child so they can create a bespoke learning journey to reflect individual needs and interests.

The nursery are open to a candidate who is looking for 3 full days or 5 half days per week.

What the nursery need from you:

• Level 3 qualification in childcare or higher
• Commitment
• Passion to deliver outstanding childcare
• Ability to work within a team
• Broad knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
• Experience working with 2 years old

Your nursery duties will include:

• Taking charge of a key group of children
• Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop
• Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning.
• Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
• Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
• Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children.
