More and more events that used to be reserved for adults, have children on the guest lists now. Be this a charity event, a private wedding, or a county fair - and it can be daunting to figure out how you're going to keep the little ones safe and occupied while still enjoying the day.

We know that in most cases children can enhance the experience, but it's important to make sure there is enough for them to do and enough watchful eyes to take care of any meltdowns - over excitement and extra doses of sugar can have this effect.

At Tinies, we can provide you with a bespoke childcare package to meet your expectations and your budget. We have a team of qualified and experienced staff who are ready and waiting to help make your special day even more special. We worry about the details, so you don't have to. All of our childcarers are rigorously screened, we've spoken to their references and they are all vetted and have up to date DBS/PVG checks - if we wouldn't be comfortable letting them take care of our little ones, they don't become a Tinies Childcarer.

Every event requires something a little different, from a complete crèche where we turn up with everything, and take care of the children away from the other festivities, to a few babysitters for the families attending, so the children can be whisked off to bed while the party continues.

What kinds of childcare could you have?

Pop Up/Mobile Crèches

A pop-up crèche is one of our most complete packages; we'll come and look at the site and help determine the amount of equipment we need to bring with us, from soft play to arts and crafts, and even tables and chairs. We'll risk assess the venue, turn up on the day and set everything up. We'll take care of everything. The crèche may be in a corner of a bigger room or in a separate part of the venue, we'll look at how to keep the children safe and secure as parents sign their children in and out at varying intervals.

Tinies Crèches always put children first. We provide an entertaining and safe environment for children of varying ages. Talk to one of our consultants to see how a mobile crèche could support your event.

Event Nannies

Sometimes all you need is an area for children to kick back, relax and unwind - within visual range of the adults, but providing extra activities to keep them entertained during speeches, or reception drinks. Designed for children of all ages, event nannies provide activity based childcare.

We'll discuss the timetable of your event and what spaces are available - so we know if the Event Nannies should be planning sporting events, or keeping things low key in a reading corner.

From weddings, parties, conferences and other special occasions, event nannies ensure that guests - both grown up and tiny - enjoy their day.

Babysitters

Sometimes, all you need is someone to put the children to bed and keep a watchful eye on them as the celebrations continue into the evening. Babysitters can return to your room with your children, or take them home at a certain point in the day.

Babysitters can be great option for all of the guests, but especially for those travelling in from out of town for the special occasion.

Chaperones

For the slightly older children, who feel they don't need a babysitter, we can provide chaperones who accompany children during special events or take them somewhere else, such as the cinema or an amusement park - while you carry on with the festivities.

Themed Party Packages

Our mobile crèches and activity workshops can be tailored to match the theme of your event, or you can create a special theme just for children. A themed event can be as simple as including themed based activities, balloons and party bags right through to providing children's entertainers, and decorating the room, staff, and children!
