"Job Title: Part-Time Afterschool Nanny/Housekeeper

Location: New Barnet, EN5
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm - 7:30pm (22 hours per week)(additional hours available in the half term dependent on successful candidates schedule)
Salary: £21 gross £18 Net approx
Driver: Not required, but would be a bonus

A loving family is seeking a nanny/housekeeper to provide care and support for their daughters, aged 9 and 11, after-school hours. Alongside this, the ideal candidate will lend a hand with various household tasks, fostering an organised environment. Whether possessing nursery experience or a background in nanny housekeeping, they are open to both. Immediate availability is preferred as the family is keen to welcome the right caregiver into their home as soon as possible.

Nanny Responsibilities:

• Prepare meals for the girls, ensuring they are nutritious and appealing.
• Pick up the girls, aged 9 and 11 years old from school
• Provide attentive and caring supervision for the girls after school.
• Assist and supervise homework, offering support and guidance as needed.
• Take the girls to after-school activities, if required.
• Ensure the girls are well-prepared for school by organizing their school uniforms and ensuring they have all necessary supplies.

Housekeeping Responsibilities:

• Manage family laundry, including washing and ironing.
• Clean and tidy the house, maintaining a neat and organized environment.
• Provide general assistance and help around the house, such as putting away groceries, running errands, and ensuring the house is kept tidy.
• Occasionally assist with other household tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a nanny or housekeeper preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine care and affection for children.
• Willingness to contribute to the smooth running of the household."
