Job description
Setting based in Bushey are looking to hire - are you looking for progression?
*Full time nursery practitioner, 40 hours a week, Level 2 or Level 3 - Salaries from £19,000 to £20,000 gross per annum
*Full time room leader, 40 hours a week, Level 3 - Salary from £21,000 to £24,000 gross per annum - depending on experience
Main Responsibilities:
• To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children in the setting.
• To support junior colleagues with daily duties including planning and observation writing.
• To champion and implement the EYFS, according to the OFSTED requirements.
• To assist the Team Leader in any duties that will benefit the nursery, possibly leading in their absence.
• To read, understand and adhere to all policies and procedures and to ensure the safe running of the setting.
• To be aware of your association to the Nursery both during your contracted hours and outside of work. Your behaviour affects how people view the nursery.
• To supervise and interact with all children. The safety and wellbeing of children take priority over all other tasks.
