Event Childcare at a Wedding

The Brief

Tinies Crèches were asked to provide a mobile crèche for 14 children for a wedding event being held at Nunsmere Hall, Northwich, Cheshire.

The Process

Tinies Crèches provided a range of activities to care for children from 0-8 years whilst their parents attended a wedding dinner and ceremony. The crèche team had the use of three areas within the venue, including an outdoor area, and a designated room so they could supervise the children's meals.

Tinies Crèches provided care for three hours and supervised a beautiful meal during this time. We also provided a face painter for the children and some great outdoor activities.

The Offering

Tinies met with the Bride and also the wedding co-ordinator at Nunsmere Hall. We agreed to provide a full package of childcare for the wedding breakfast to enable the parents to relax and enjoy their meal happy in the knowledge that the children were having fun and were being well cared for. Tinies crèches provided a manager and three additional staff for this occasion including a qualified Paediatric First Aider. Activities included:

  • Outdoor games & Sports
  • Supervised meal time
  • Music and dance

 

All staff were in Tinies uniform so were easily identified by any of the children, hotel staff or wedding party. They were all CRB and reference checked and had been fully interviewed, screened and vetted. They organised and planned the provision and the manager ensured that all equipment and resources were in place in a timely fashion for the day. The team also allowed time for setting up and tidying away of the equipment and were on hand when the wedding speeches over ran slightly to supervise the children without a problem.

"We had the most amazing day thank you! It was perfect and we have so many happy memories of it. Although I only met your team briefly, they were great and the crèche all went very well. I believe the children were all well behaved and it was great that they were taken care of and entertained whilst we enjoyed our meal and the speeches.

Most of them were a little timid when it came to the face painting and opted for subtle little twirls or flowers on their faces but there were a few bolder ones which meant we had a cat and a dog running around on the dance floor in the evening which was great fun! So all in all, a great day!

From my point of view the fact that I had very little to do with your team is the best feedback that I can give you because that means they arrived and did their job with no complications. Tinies created a perfect crèche environment for the range of children attending the party.
